Kimmidoll. Kawaii!

I saw these cute Kimmidolls in Fully Booked Greenhills. aren't they cute?!

Based on the traditional Japanese Kokeshi dolls, each doll repesents one of “Life’s True Values” like kindness, happiness, joy and respect. Traditionally given as tokens of love and friendship these were also given as  gifts to newborns as a lucky charms . (oh parang wish lang di ba?)

What's cuter than a baby elephant?

What's cuter than a baby elephant? ....scroll down!

feeding the baby elephant. i was surprised to feel air coming from his trunk when he picked up the food. nakalimutan ko ilong pala nila ang trunk! nasa isip ko kamay!

makulit sila, inaagaw yung hose at nambabasa!

parang tuta lang.

definitely one of the best experience i've ever had :)
Only one hour from Bangkok, Elephantstay - a non profit elephant village in Ayutthaya, offers a once in a lifetime chance for you to play, work and  help with the conservation of elephants.
a 3 day 2 night stay includes air conditioned accomodation, meals, thsirt, handbook, and of course learning the basic commands of how to ride, bathe and feed your elephant. since 3 days sya, it doesn't come cheap. around 12,000Baht per person for the 3 day package.

di mo pwede gawin yan sa manila zoo...

medyo scary at first riding them bareback, naisip ko, paano kung naisip nya biglang tumango? Di gulong ako sa lupa! apparently hindi mahilig tumango ang mga elepante. (sabi daw ha)

(nandyan yun elephant under water...)
They also make paper made from elephant dung. at may mga elephant dun na nag pa-painting. You can buy a painting if you want.
There are over 90 elephants in that village but you probably wont get to see all of them kasi madami silang booking. Good news is, they have more baby elephants now (birth number 44 na ata) because of their successful breeding program .
For more information, visit their website : http://www.elephantstay.com/ or better yet, visit the elephants!
